First pictures of the Varianta 37
The price hammer for 89,000 euros in the exclusive YACHT photo gallery - with lots of on-deck and below-deck pictures of the latest coup from Greifswald

YACHT online was the first sailing magazine in the world to report on the new model, which is based on the hull of the Hanse 370. Now we are showing - once again exclusively - a gallery that illuminates the Varianta 37 from all angles.

Sheer deck shape. It is different from the Hanse 370, on whose hull the Varianta 37 is based. Instead of a self-tacking jib, there is a short genoa and the shrouds are on the outside

It is clear that the Hanse Group in Greifswald does not want to reinvent the boat. On the contrary, the interior and cockpit layout follow tried and tested lines. Although the proportion of wood is significantly lower than in a Hanse 385, for example - as we already know from the Varianta 44 - there are also no cupboards and lockers here and there, which are otherwise common in this class.

But there is no lack of stowage or storage options. And the ambience below deck is also quite pleasing - rather cool, rather modern, characterised by straight angles, but by no means spartan. For example, the spacious wet room has been retained unchanged from the Hanse 370, with the exception of the partition door to the shower area. The berth dimensions fore and aft are absolutely fine; the cushions in the saloon are somewhat narrow, but at over two metres they are long enough. The only thing missing is a fixed navigation system.

The Varianta 37 will celebrate its German debut at the Hanseboot in Hamburg. All information and data on the boat can be found here on the Varianta homepage.

And you can already see her in the video - at the Grand Pavois, the in-water boat show in La Rochelle, Hanse unofficially tested the first reactions to the new boat last week. Our colleagues from "Voiles & Voiliers" show the construction number 1 on a tour above and below deck. Click on the image below to play (commentary in French).
