Allures 45.9
With the 45.9, Allures brings a fresh interpretation of the ideal long-distance sailing boat. The hull is made of light metal, the deck of plastic

Aluminium remains a popular building material among long-distance sailors, despite various blue-water yachts made of GRP or even carbon sandwich, which are sailing successfully and in droves on all the oceans of the planet. It is possible that the many collisions reported by blue-water and ocean-going yachtsmen are helping the long-serving material to enjoy a new lease of life. The shipyard Allures Yachting in Cherbourg, Normandy, never tires of bringing new products onto the market, such as the flagship Allures 45.9.

Its hull is made of aluminium, while the deck is made of GRP sandwich. The construction method combines a durable, rigid and point-loadable hull with an insulating deck that can have clean surfaces and harmonious radii. The 45.9 is also available with an integral keel or with a lifting keel. The boat has a fixed bowsprit, bathing platform, semi-open stern and an aft bracket that can be used as an equipment carrier or davit. As is customary on French long-distance yachts, the ship is equipped with a genoa and a cutter jib on its own stay.

The high-quality interior is on two levels, with the seating area and navigation system raised. The integral keel disappears into the saloon bench. A version with two cabins and a technical room as well as two bathrooms is on display; other layouts and conversions are of course possible. The 14.75 metre long Allures 45.9 is 4.43 metres wide and weighs 12.6 tonnes according to the shipyard.

The boat designed by Berret/Racoupeau can be seen at boot Düsseldorf until Sunday evening in Hall 16, Stand D 40. The German representative is Blue Yachting based in Bremen.
