Bavaria 47 aft cockpit: The version with four compartments available
Cheaper or more comfortable - the customer chooses. The largest German shipyard offers the new Bavaria 47 as an aft or centre cockpit. A comparison illustrates the differences between the two living concepts

A lot of boat for the money, a high level of comfort, lavish equipment and satisfactory sailing performance is the common denominator of the Bavaria 47 in both versions.
If you are only looking at the price, you will hardly be able to avoid the boat, but you will be faced with the agonising question of whether the almost 170000 marks higher price for the centre cockpit version is justified. If you are planning longer trips for two or four, the Ocean offers optimal conditions without compromises. This is because there are two completely separate areas available. The third compartment can be used as additional storage space.
If more cabins are required for larger crews, the aft cabin version is a suitable alternative, not least because of the large cockpit and the double steering system.
However, full occupancy means a significant loss of quality of life.
