Bavaria 36 Holiday and Dufour 35 classic (issue 01/98): Two from one stable

Despite their similarities, the two ships have an astonishing number of differences, particularly in the rig design and the layout below deck.
Dufour 35: A very successful design, timeless elegance and high utility value will make it a successful ship in the mid-range market. The price is favourable, the technical equipment complete. Four to six people can travel comfortably without any area restrictions. The engine accessibility, the winches and the too-small recessed grips on the port locker lids could be improved. In addition, the aft cabin should have a large hatch or window to the cockpit.
Bavaria 36 Holiday: A consistent charter boat with a divided aft cabin that leaves the saloon free as a communal area. Due to the simple operation of sheets and furlers, the ship is also suitable for a small owner's crew. Due to the larger hull volume, there is more space below deck, especially aft.
