Strong aluminium hull, insulating GRP deck, variable draught from 3.10 (!) down to 1.23 metres. Plus an airy, modern interior in two versions - the flagship of the Cherbourg shipyard has various unique selling points. The Berret/Racoupeau design is 15.5 metres long and, at 16.9 tonnes, weighs slightly more than comparably sized conventional cruising yachts. The increase in weight is partly due to the high proportion of ballast (36 percent/6.1 tonnes). The interior features two different aft compartments and a large saloon with a longitudinal pantry on the port side. For the foredeck, there is a choice between an island bed and wet room on the main bulkhead or a bed offset to one side and a smaller toilet room forward.
Allures was founded in 2003. The shipyards Outremer Yachting (catamarans from 45 to 59 feet), Alumarine Shipyard (professional vessels and ocean-going aluminium catamarans) and Garcia Yachting (45 to 115-foot aluminium yachts for worldwide cruising) are now part of the group, which is called Grand Large Yachting.
