Beneteau Oceanis 50, 2008 – DKK 1,990,000
The Complete Bluewater Cruiser – Still Waiting for Her Greatest Adventure
Some yachts are upgraded after their owners decide to set off on the adventure of a lifetime. Savannah was upgraded before the journey ever began.
Most yachts equipped to this level have already completed a circumnavigation or accumulated many thousands of offshore miles. Savannah is different. She has been meticulously upgraded and prepared for bluewater cruising and liveaboard life with the ambition of sailing the world – but that voyage never became reality.
The result is an exceptionally well-equipped and thoughtfully upgraded Beneteau Oceanis 50, where the next owner benefits from virtually every major investment a serious long-distance cruiser would normally have to make themselves – without the wear and tear that years of offshore sailing inevitably leave behind.
Savannah therefore represents a rare opportunity for the discerning sailor seeking a modern, highly capable and exceptionally comfortable cruising yacht, equally suited for bluewater adventures, liveaboard life or luxurious summer cruising.
Designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design with an elegant interior by Nauta Design, the Oceanis 50 combines impressive sailing performance, generous living space and excellent build quality. It remains one of Beneteau's most desirable 50-foot cruising yachts.
Since 2022, Savannah has been continuously upgraded with one clear objective: to create a self-sufficient, reliable yacht offering maximum comfort on board.
And it shows.
A complete Victron energy management system, including 1,000 W of solar panels, MultiPlus-II inverter/charger, Cerbo GX and GX Touch, provides an energy solution that makes extended periods away from shore power effortless. Both freshwater tanks and the fuel tank are digitally monitored through the Victron system, which is fully integrated with the Raymarine navigation network.
The custom-built stainless-steel arch by Anker Steel elegantly integrates radar, Starlink, solar panels and dinghy davits into one practical solution, while powerful bow and stern thrusters make manoeuvring easy, even with a short-handed crew.
Below deck, Savannah offers a level of comfort rarely found in this class. A new Isotherm refrigerator, washer/dryer, air fryer, handcrafted teak details, premium television and upgraded lighting create an interior where life on board is every bit as enjoyable as the sailing itself.
Under sail, Savannah is equally impressive. Performance sails, an Elvstrøm gennaker on a Facnor furler, upgraded running rigging and professionally maintained standing rigging ensure that she is easy to handle while delivering the sailing performance expected from the Oceanis 50.
In short, Savannah is a yacht where the major investments have already been made. The next owner can simply focus on what she was built for: creating unforgettable experiences at sea.

Broker's Comment
"There are many Oceanis 50s on the market. There are far fewer upgraded to this standard. And there are almost none where all of these significant investments have been made specifically for bluewater cruising—without the yacht subsequently being subjected to the demanding conditions and heavy wear that years of offshore sailing inevitably bring.
Savannah therefore represents a truly rare opportunity. Here you acquire a yacht where substantial investments have already been made in energy management, navigation, comfort, safety and sailing performance. In other words, she has been fully prepared for the adventure of a lifetime—an adventure she is still waiting to begin.
For the next owner, that means one thing: you can skip years of costly upgrades and instead spend your time doing exactly what Savannah was built for—sailing."
