A LEGENDARY CATAMARAN, FULLY RESTORED FOR ADVENTURE Designed by Bill O’Brien and built by South Coast Catamaran Ltd in 1968, this Oceanic 30 Ketch is a timeless classic, combining durability and performance. Acquired in 2019, it underwent a complete refit between 2021 and 2022, making it ready to sail with no additional work required.
GENERAL CONDITION: LIKE NEW AFTER REFIT Hull & Structure:
Fiberglass hull in excellent condition, fully refinished and protected. Rudders rebuilt in epoxy-coated plywood, wooden/epoxy keels with stainless steel shoes. Deck fully reconstructed in epoxy-coated plywood (watertight). Hydraulic steering system (Seastar cylinder + LeComble & Schmitt RV2 pump).
Interior Layout (2022):
2 double berths + 1 single berth (optimized comfort). Fully equipped galley: 2-burner gas stove, stainless steel sink with pressurized water, 50L fridge. Head compartment: Manual toilet + black water tank. LED lighting and high-quality finishes.
Electronics & Navigation (2021-2024):
VHF Ocean RO 6800 with integrated GPS/AIS. RayMarine autopilot (hydraulic actuator). Garmin Fishfinder 160 sounder, Plastimo compass + hand-bearing compass. Digital Yacht Trinav active GPS. LED navigation lights.
Electrical System & Energy Independence:
3 solar panels + Victron Energy MPPT 100/30 charge controller. Batteries: 2 x engine batteries, 1 x 180Ah lead-acid (backup), 1 x 130Ah Creabest lithium (2024) + Victron charger. Cristec 12V/220V inverter. Rigging & Sails (2022):
New standing and running rigging (shrouds, stays, halyards). New Technique Voiles sails (2022): Mainsail (full-batten, 2 reefs). Genoa and staysail on furlers. Mizzen (full-batten, 1 reef). Symmetrical spinnaker (used).

Propulsion:
2 x Nanni Diesel 3.90 HE engines (20 HP, overhauled in 2021) – reliable and fuel-efficient. 2 x 100L aluminum fuel tanks + 2 x 100L stainless steel freshwater tanks.
