Wir sind ein Paar aus Österreich und haben Anfang 2024 unsere „Ronja“ – eine Westerly Oceanlord 41 – gekauft, mit dem großen Ziel, eine Weltumsegelung zu machen. Nach dem Kauf und einem umfassenden Refit, um das Boot absolut blauwassertauglich zu gestalten, konnten wir den Atlantik im März/April 2025 überqueren und in die Karibik segeln. Nun müssen wir aufgrund der Schwangerschaft (sie macht längere Aufenthalte auf dem Wasser leider unmöglich) unsere Reise vorzeitig beenden und unsere RONJA an neue Besitzer weitergeben, die diese sichere Langfahrtyacht weiter in die Welt tragen. Es handelt sich somit um einen Notverkauf und wir bieten das Boot zu einem entsprechend günstigen Preis an.
Warum eine Westerly Oceanlord? Westerlys sind bekannt für Stabilität, Robustheit und Hochseetauglichkeit. Das Mittelcockpit vermittelt ein großartiges Sicherheitsgefühl – und hat uns auch Dank seiner Größe (gemütlich Platz für bis zu 6 Personen, Sitzbanklänge 2m) viele gesellige Stunden an Bord beschert. Alle Leinen sind ins Cockpit umgeleitet.

We are a couple from Austria and bought our “Ronja” – a Westerly Oceanlord 41 – in early 2024 with the big goal of sailing around the world. After the purchase and a comprehensive refit to make the boat absolutely blue water ready, we were able to cross the Atlantic in March/April 2025 and sail in the Caribbean. Now, due to pregnancy (which unfortunately makes longer stays on the water impossible), we have to end our trip prematurely and pass on our RONJA to new owners who will continue to sail this safe long-distance yacht around the world. This is therefore a distress sale and we are offering the boat at a correspondingly low price.
Why a Westerly Oceanlord? Westerlys are known for their stability, robustness, and seaworthiness. The center cockpit conveys a great sense of security – and, thanks to its size (comfortably seating up to 6 people, bench length 2 m), has provided us with many convivial hours on board. All lines are routed into the cockpit.
