- After sinking in 1995, being encased in ferrocement and returning to Tulln in 2004, the "Regentag" was extensively restored in 2018 at a cost of 520,000 euros.  
- Boat builder Tobias van Kooij renovated dilapidated wooden and hull parts and added a GRP hull; today, the "Regentag" is once again watertight and ready to sail.

- At the 13th Classic Yacht Symposium in Helsinki, experts from 20 nations met to give lectures and discuss classic yachts.

- The Singoalla Award went to Ed Kastelein, the Nordic Singoalla Award to Joakim Håkans for services to yacht restoration.
