It is "only" first place on the queen's stage of the Ocean Race from Cape Town to Itajai, but Team Malizia is celebrating it like an overall victory - one of the strengths of Boris Herrmann's racing team
The Hamburg native is Germany's best-known professional sailor and his team is one of the most innovative and successful in the world. YACHT editor Jochen Rieker has been following the career of the charismatic skipper at close quarters for almost 25 years: before the start of the Transat Jacques Vabre as well as during The Ocean Race, about which he wrote the current bestseller " Boris Herrmann and the race around the world " has written. In the webinar, he takes us behind the scenes of the Imoca campaign, provides insights into the everyday life of the Malizia boss and reads passages from his book.

Everyone knows Boris Herrmann - at least facets of his fascinating personality. But few have accompanied him for as long, both professionally and privately, as Jochen Rieker, the long-standing editor-in-chief of YACHT. He has witnessed his humble beginnings at the MiniTransat as well as his greatest triumphs, which have allowed him to mature into a star of the scene.

In the webinar, he talks about the person behind the phenomenon, his strengths, preferences, beliefs, fears and worries. And he describes how a successful Imoca team works, what entrepreneurs and managers can learn from Malizia and why a good story can be worth more than a win. An interactive webinar that is part insider report, part reading, definitely exciting.

Questions for Jochen Rieker can be asked in the chat.
