Sea Cloud Cruises and YACHT will be at the starting line of the St. Barths Bucket from 7 to 17 March 2025. The regatta is one of the highlights of the superyacht event calendar. It also includes an unforgettable and varied cruise through the Caribbean's dream destination

The tranquil, French-ruled Caribbean jewel Saint-Barthélemy is transformed into the stage for the most spectacular sailing show for sailing superyachts on the occasion of the St. Barths Bucket Regatta. The programme for the event has been set since the first edition 29 years ago: dream yachts against a dream backdrop, paired with a nice mix of beach parties and social activities.

Every year, the crème de la crème of sailing giants, including their owners' entourage, are drawn to Gustavia, the capital harbour of the Lesser Antilles. Between 30 and 50 of the most modern superyachts with sail areas of up to 4,000 square metres make the long journey across the Atlantic to take part in the prestigious regatta and hold the coveted winner's trophy - a silver bucket - in their hands.

Unforgettable moments with the YACHT

For the 2025 edition of the St. Barth's Bucket Regatta, Hamburg-based shipping company Sea Cloud Cruises is offering special box seats. When the 117-metre-long barque "Sea Cloud II" drops anchor off Gustavia for two days, up to 94 guests will be very close to the regatta action.

The YACHT readers' trip is accompanied by Editor-in-Chief Martin Hagerwho will give talks on the world of superyachts and the history of the Bucket Regatta. There will also be a live commentary on the racing action as guests follow the sporting battles between the sailing giants from the sun deck. The windjammer's stop in Saint-Barthélemy is part of an extended Caribbean tour with the neighbouring island of Sint Maarten as the start and finish port.

Other stops on the voyage from 7 to 17 March 2025 include Dominica, the Îles des Saintes, St. Lucia and the British Virgin Islands. The scenic highlights of the trip include the Syndicate National Park on Dominica, the rock formation The Baths on Virgin Gorda and the white sandy beach on Norman Island, where a beach barbecue awaits the "Sea Cloud II" guests. Two days under sail ensure that they also get their sailing money's worth thanks to constant trade winds. The perfect time to sit back and relax in the deck chair.
