Mara Zapp, head of the Well Sailing sailing school, has been teaching various water sports since the 1990s. Since 2017, she has been an integral part of the school’s training team, which she has now been leading for five years. There, together with her team, she runs eight to ten World Sailing-certified safety training courses (Safety at Sea) each year. The experience gained from these courses, combined with continuous professional development and a touch of humour despite the challenging subject matter, are what set Mara Zapp apart.
