Webinar content:

In this interactive seminar, you will gain the knowledge you need to respond appropriately in critical situations. You will learn how to recognise, assess and treat medical and surgical emergencies. Whether it’s seasickness, a heart attack, a stroke or open wounds – with the right measures and a bit of practice, you can make a real difference.

The webinar series consists of two parts:

  • Part 1: Internal Medicine Emergencies and Acute Care
    Learn life-saving techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and how to deal with acute medical conditions such as hypothermia, heatstroke and heart attacks. Gastroenterological and urological emergencies, as well as how to communicate effectively with medical staff, are also covered.
  • Part 2: Surgical emergencies and first aid for injuries
    From stopping bleeding and treating fractures to managing burns and eye injuries, we provide practical knowledge and equip you with the tools you need to treat injuries effectively. Topics such as pain management and accident prevention are also covered in detail.
