Marina Port Vell can now accommodate more yachts and has new service buildings. It is ideally located for visiting the city

Barcelona is without question one of the most exciting European cities that crews can call at directly by yacht: a beautiful old town, lots of history, the Ramblas party mile and the flair of a hip metropolis. Just a few minutes' walk from the centre is the Port Vell marina, which has been gradually expanded in recent years at a cost of over five million euros and now offers a total of 150 berths.

The front part of the pier is geared more towards mega yachts, but further back, normal cruising yachts can also be accommodated on floating jetties. With new service buildings and terraces jutting out into the harbour basin, seating areas, a spa, fitness club, bars and restaurant, crews will have plenty to do. The final work on land should be completed by the summer. Moorings are best reserved in advance (telephone +34 934 842 308) or by filling in the form on the Website.

Crews for whom the marina is too orientated towards luxury yachts can try the Club Nautico just a few hundred metres opposite as an alternative.
