Whether a daily or annual berth, the berthing fees for sailing yachts often vary by several hundred per cent from country to country and from harbour to harbour. YACHT shows where berths are available, how much they cost and what skippers get for their money in terms of service and feel-good factor.

Wonderful hours at sea and then enjoying the evening in a beautiful marina - this is what a perfect sailing day looks like. However, in some Mediterranean harbours, skippers can no longer find a place if they have previously enjoyed the pleasures of the water until the early evening. Or, and this is not much better, sailors do get a place, but by the time the harbour master comes to collect the fees, they wish they had stayed at sea.

To ensure that sailors do not fall into such traps, YACHT has surveyed harbours and marinas in the Mediterranean region on a large scale with regard to costs and service. Skippers will find information on 20 harbours for each country. This makes it easier to plan the next trip or even the next summer.
