From Wangerooge almost to Borkum - a family cruise in the German Wadden Sea. With lots of information about both the island harbours and the harbours along the coast

The seven large islands off the coast of East Frisia line up like a string of pearls. The mudflats in between. You can explore this marvellous area by sailing boat - as long as the crew is prepared to accept the rhythm of the tides, the eternal coming and going of ebb and flow.

In his latest travel report, YACHT author Stefan Schorr explains how you can spend a wonderfully relaxed boating holiday with young and old in the East Frisian mudflats despite tidal navigation, shallow waters and sometimes dangerous sea conditions in strong winds -now in the new YACHT (issue 4/2018, available now at newsagents and as a digital edition).
