Colourful houses line the port of Cassis. It's usually full - but it's still worth a visit
The bays in the Calanques National Park, the wines of Cassis, the dreamy Côte Bleue - there is a very special sailing area to discover around Marseille

In the Calanques National Park, one rocky bay with turquoise-coloured water follows the next for a good ten nautical miles. As well as stopping to anchor, the coastal hiking trails through the park are well worth a visit.

You can read a report on the cruise along the southern French Mediterranean coast between Toulon and Marseille, including tips for good anchorages, restaurants and shore excursions, in the new YACHT 17/2018, which is now in stores, can be ordered online and is available digitally.
