Visitors to the bay were surprised by a new fee schedule this season. Instead of the previous 60 kuna per person (approx. 8 euros), the fee is now charged per boat. As the length categories have been chosen quite generously, the visit will be massively more expensive, especially for small crews with boats over 36 feet: up to 11 metres 200 kuna (26 euros), 11 to 18 metres 350 kuna (46 euros), 18 to 25 metres 700 kuna (92 euros). The buoys laid out can be used for the fee. For large charter crews with more than six sailors on board, the fee is cheaper.
However, crews can reduce the mooring fee by buying a ticket for the park in Sali/Dugi Otok or some mainland harbours nearby before their visit. There is then a discount of around 15 per cent on the daily rates. Some crews reported on site that cashiers demanded 400 kuna instead of 350 kuna for the length of 11 to 18 metres.
