The company was founded Dream Yacht in 2000 by Loïc Bonnet in the Seychelles. Over the past 25 years, the portfolio has steadily expanded and continues to do so today. Current innovations include a modernisation of the fleet, a redesigned owner programme and additional routes in the area of crewed cabin charters.
Dream Yacht's charter fleet is impressive: the company has around 750 sailing yachts in operation at its 35 destinations worldwide from Sweden to the South Pacific, including 300 monohulls and 450 catamarans from established manufacturers. Motor yachts are also available at five destinations.
The new models added from this season include current and new models from Bali, Fountaine Pajot, Excess, Lagoon, Oceanis and Dufour. Yachts from the existing fleet will also be modernised, such as Beneteau's Lagoon NEO programme. The aim is to increase service life, comfort and efficiency.
The cabin charter offers two new destinations that could previously only be travelled to bareboat: Firstly, the shallow lagoons of the Abacos in the north of the Bahamas, and secondly the Gulf of Thailand with its island world around the popular holiday island of Koh Samui.
In the Sail Share segment, which is also based on cabin charters but is structured similarly to a cruise (with a yacht) and includes half board in the price, the islands of the Kornati on the Adriatic coast of Croatia have now been added to the Greek destination of Corfu.
Two newly designed programmes for yacht owners are also being launched: with Dream Performance Worldwide, investors receive two guaranteed weeks of sailing in the high season on a yacht of equal value at one of the programme's many locations, while the Dream Guarantee variant is individually tailored to the respective owner.

Christian Tiedt was born in Hamburg in 1975, but grew up in the northern suburbs of the city - except for numerous visits to the harbor, North Sea and Baltic Sea, but without direct access to water sports for a long time. His first adventures then took place on dry land: With the classics from Chichester, Slocum and Co. After completing his vocational training, his studies finally gave him the opportunity (in terms of time) to get active on the water - and to obtain the relevant licenses. First with cruising and then, when he joined BOOTE in 2004, with motorboats of all kinds. In the meantime, Christian has been able to get to know almost all of Europe (and some more distant destinations) on his own keel and prefers to share his adventures and experiences as head of the travel department for YACHT and BOOTE in cruise reports.
