Over the past ten years, Holger Brauns has made a name for himself on the Elbe with adventure tours lasting several hours under sail. Now he is expanding his programme: In addition to the Elbe sailing trips specialising in day trips, from this season onwards Baltic Sea sailing in the programme - with trips lasting several days.
To achieve this, the initiator has opted for a concept with a personalised touch. Instead of the classic bareboat charter, OstseeSegelei is aimed at guests who would like to go on a cruise themselves with professional skipper Brauns, by crewed charter for closed groups or by cabin charter in a double cabin. The boat for all trips is a new Hanse 360 with three double cabins.
Many additional services are included in the price, such as the skipper, diesel and electricity, breakfast on board and final cleaning. There is also no deposit. Not included, however, are harbour fees and the on-board cash for the rest of the catering.
The organisation of the charter week is primarily based on the wishes of the guests. For example, relaxed island hopping in the Danish South Sea, sporty cruises around Funen or completely individualised planning are possible. All trips start and finish in Gelting on the Flensburg Fjord.
OstseeSegelei also offers regatta sailing: There are three events to choose from, either for closed groups or for individual bookings: Ærø Rund, Aalregatta and Silbernes Band zur Kieler Woche, each lasting two to three days. All three regattas currently on offer take place in June.
In addition to the introduction of Baltic Sea sailing, the Elbe sailing 2026 is now offering a limited "All you can Sail" annual ticket for adventure cruises on the Elbe and a new manoeuvre training course for families and prospective charter crews.
