Baltic Sea: Schleibrücke Kappeln closed for three days

Next week, crews who want to move their boat to winter storage or sail again on the Schlei must plan their passage in Kappeln accordingly. From Monday 13 October to Wednesday 15 October, the secondary passage openings will be closed from 7 am to 8 pm. On Tuesday 14 October, the main passage opening will be fully closed from 7 am to 2 pm. According to the notice to mariners, adverse circumstances may make it necessary to change the dates at short notice.

Regular opening hours

From April to October, the double-winged Schleibrücke bridge in Kappeln opens daily from 5.40 am to 9.40 pm, always 20 minutes before the hour for 15 minutes at a time. From November to March, it also opens 20 minutes before the hour, but only from 7.40 am to 5.40 pm. If required, the bridge keeper can be contacted on 04642 81 548.
