If you want to find out about current shooting exercises or other warnings in Denmark, you can access a clear map online. There is also a matching app.

It could hardly be simpler. The Danish Maritime Authority (Søfartsstyrelsen) has issued a Map which contains all relevant warnings for sailors. You can simply zoom in on the relevant sailing area and call up the information. Although this service is only available in Danish and English, any translation tool can be used if there are language barriers.

All relevant information for sailors in Denmark combined on one map

Both nautical warnings (Navigational Warnings), such as those relating to firing exercises, and local notices to mariners, such as bridge closures or dredging work, are published. What is somewhat cumbersome to find in BSH and ELWIS works in the same way. here playfully easy. First click on the English flag symbol, then on Map and you're ready to go. www.nautiskinformation.soefartsstyrelsen.dk

Alerts also on the app: SejlSikkert

Also on the free app SejlSikkert the warnings and notices for sailors in Denmark are available, but only in Danish. Using copy & paste and a translation tool such as Google Translate can help you quickly. There is also graphical information on wind and current conditions for the next two days. The app is available for the Android and iOS operating systems from Apple.

Available by telephone: Lyngby Radio

If online access is not available, you can also call the coastal radio station Lyngby Radio to find out about firing exercises and restricted areas. The station is manned around the clock and the colleagues speak English.
