Drejø is one of the many pearls in the Danish South Sea. Prices are tumbling for the new season.
Reviernews-Denmark 2026, Part 2: A lot has also happened in the popular area in the north of the Bay of Kiel for the 2026 season. What's new in the Little Belt and the Danish South Sea.

Danish South Sea

Bucking the trend: the island harbours of Skarø and Drejø are reducing their guest mooring fees by an average of 22 percent, depending on the size of the boat. The money saved is well spent at the island shop on Drejø or the ice cream parlour on Skarø.

Flensburg Fjord

Investments in the X-Yachts harbours on the Flensburg Fjord: Following last year's construction of a new harbour office and sanitary building, Marina Toft has now built an additional and frost-proof hall for its winter storage customers. In Marina Minde, the operators of the "Værftet" restaurant are now also taking over the grill bar in the harbour. The seating area around the snack bar is to be made more attractive. The jetties have been equipped with additional fire extinguishers, rescue ladders and equipment in order to obtain the "Sikkert Havn" (safe harbour) certificate.

Sønderborg on Als

Round-the-clock shopping in Sønderborg in southern Denmark: a new boat accessories shop with an innovative concept has opened in Sønderborg's marina: The shop is accessible around the clock. Customers can enter the shop by scanning a QR code and paying a fee of five kroner. This gives them a seasonal access code that can be used in all shops with the same concept throughout Denmark.

In the shop, customers scan the items they want and pay by credit card. The children's play area is attracting visitors with a new type of pirate ship - the first of its kind in Denmark. In addition to crab fishing gear, there are also underwater peepers to explore the seabed. The shower and toilet blocks are being modernised. The programme also includes six music events with food and drink.

Augustenborg on Als

The guest sanitary building in the Augustenborg marina on the island of Als is now also being gutted and renovated. A new high-speed WLAN is also being installed for all harbour users.

Fehmarnsund and Little Belt

For the underwater work during the construction of the Fehmarn Sound Tunnel, variable restricted areas for water sports enthusiasts will continue to be set up. The work areas are marked with yellow restricted area buoys, the positions of which are announced via the nautical publications of the shipping authorities. When entering the VTS area, it is advisable to report to "Fehmarnbelt Traffic" via VHF channel 68.

In addition to the restricted work areas at sea, temporary restricted areas near the coastline of Fehmarn and Lolland have also been designated for the construction of the immersed tunnel. These areas are also subject to an absolute ban for all water sports enthusiasts. More information is available at femern.de/watersports. Following geotechnical test drilling, construction of the Lillebælt Syd 2026 offshore wind farm has been paused. No restrictions are expected.
