Charter flotilla from Sunsail in Croatia,
The charter specialists from Sunsail have renewed their flotilla offer on the Croatian Adriatic coast in two areas for the coming holiday season.

On the one hand Sunsail A new flotilla was added to the programme there and existing flotilla cruises were revised: The aim is to give guests the opportunity to keep their holiday budget manageable despite rising consumer prices for services on land.

New Sunsail flotilla from Dubrovnik

The Libertas flotilla from Dubrovnik is a completely new service. In the southern Dalmatian holiday metropolis, Sunsail has a base in the ACI Marina located near the city. It is both the starting and finishing point of the week-long cruise. From there, the trip goes to Suđurađ on the island of Šipan, on to Polače on Mljet and then to Korčula. A free sailing day follows before the flotilla reunites in Okuklje on Mljet to return to Dubrovnik together.

Save costs through customised planning

In addition, the routes of existing flotillas have been adapted to reduce ancillary costs - or at least to enable a reduction through flexible individual planning. To this end, Sunsail has reorganised the processes somewhat and built in more personal freedom, for example to save on harbour fees. These are based on the size of the boat and are not included in the flotilla price.

Previously, mooring in a marina was planned every evening, which can quickly add 200 euros to the on-board budget. There is now also more flexibility overall thanks to new schedules and more frequent anchoring. For example, the popular visit to the Krka waterfalls can now be organised independently on the free day of the trip. This means that the costs for travelling the National parks saved. Swimming is no longer allowed there anyway.

Christian Tiedt was born in Hamburg in 1975, but grew up in the northern suburbs of the city - except for numerous visits to the harbor, North Sea and Baltic Sea, but without direct access to water sports for a long time. His first adventures then took place on dry land: With the classics from Chichester, Slocum and Co. After completing his vocational training, his studies finally gave him the opportunity (in terms of time) to get active on the water - and to obtain the relevant licenses. First with cruising and then, when he joined BOOTE in 2004, with motorboats of all kinds. In the meantime, Christian has been able to get to know almost all of Europe (and some more distant destinations) on his own keel and prefers to share his adventures and experiences as head of the travel department for YACHT and BOOTE in cruise reports.
