Even before the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony in 2014, it was clear to everyone involved that the construction of the new marina on the Zeppelinufer in Teltow had to be a sustainable infrastructure project.
Not least for this reason, the decision was made regarding the client’s requested walkway decking, with a total area of around 550 m², divided into 6 main piers and 17 finger piers, was made in favour of the TRIMAX® profiles (5 x 30 cm) in reddish-brown, which are approved by the building authorities. The substructure was also constructed using TRIMAX® profiles measuring 5 x 10 cm.
At the grand opening of Teltow Harbour, in the presence of thousands of enthusiastic visitors and prominent political figures who had travelled there for the occasion, the durability, low-maintenance nature and sustainability of the surfacing were once again explicitly highlighted.
