With the Elbe H dinghy in the Dragets Canal. Sailing such narrow passages in the middle of a magical landscape is one of the highlights of an archipelago cruise with a small boat
A unique world of small and tiny islands stretches out before the gates of Stockholm. Exploring them by dinghy is a fantastic adventure

As small the boat, as immeasurably great the happiness. This is what YACHT author Birgit Radebold experienced during a summer of sailing. Together with her husband, she sailed from the Flensburg Fjord via Denmark northwards to the southern and eastern Swedish coast on the Elbe H dinghy "Dulcibella".

She had already reported on this first part of her trip in YACHT 7/2022 - and sent thousands of YACHT readers into raptures. The reactions to the article were unanimously enthusiastic. In the new issue of YACHT, Radebold now describes what happens next.

The two of them venture out into the marvellous archipelago near Stockholm in their aged but thoroughly sprightly dinghy. They venture out to the outer, more exposed islands and sometimes seek shelter from the wind and weather between the sometimes tiny islets just off the coast. They meet local sailors and other travellers. They experience the weather from all sides. They explore the unique landscape and immerse themselves for weeks in the Swedish summer sailing culture.

The travelling dinghy "Dulcibella" carefully feels its way through the archipelago. The navigation is not easy!

In short, Radebold's travelogue continues as fantastically and captivatingly as it left off in the last issue. For quite a few people, it may be the inspiration for their next voyage. Now available to read in YACHT 8/2022, now available in magazine shops and as a digital edition in the YACHT app or simply can be ordered directly here.
