The compact ring binder from Sweden is written in English and promises to present the 50 most worthwhile destinations in the archipelago around Stockholm

The new Stockholm archipelago guide from the small Swedish publishing house Brixhamn Books summarises fifty harbours and bays across the archipelago. The book is by no means complete, but it promises to present the most worthwhile destinations in great detail. There are four pages for each harbour and anchorage. In addition to an aerial photograph and detailed map, there are descriptions of the approach and mooring options. In the case of natural harbours, the ground conditions and water depths are also described. In addition, the best places to moor directly on the rocks, as is typical in Sweden, are indicated.

The wind and swell protection of the harbour or bay can be quickly identified using a graphic. In addition, the suitability for children and bathing facilities are classified and the distances to larger harbours in the area are indicated. In addition to the nautical information, there is also a brief description of the respective town or island, with details of historical or tourist features.

The team of authors has been travelling in the archipelago for decades, including as skipper of the sailing trawler "Tibnor" which can often be found in the natural harbours around Stockholm in summer.
