The ACI marina association is now offering charter, training and regattas with the fast, foiling racers in Croatia from Split

The 36 is considered to be one of the hottest, innovative regatta classes at the moment, as the ClubSwan is equipped with a C-foil that can be swivelled to either side through a channel in the boat, but should still be sailable by dedicated regatta normalos and be a lot of fun, as it is optimised for fast space-sheet rides at planing speed. The ACI has included the performance fleet in its own charter programme in order to promote the still young one-design class, which organises its own Mediterranean regatta circuit with five dates in Croatia and Italy. This means that sailors who cannot afford such a racer as a private vessel can also enjoy sailing the Swan.

ACI Sail offers a wide range of programmes for this: it starts with training and corporate sailing events in Croatia in April, which are repeated later in October. Trainers will familiarise interested crews with the boat and show them how to sail the 36 quickly and efficiently. In particular, the correct handling of the C-foil, which is pulled through a channel in the hull to the respective side, as well as sail trim and boat handling are on the agenda. With the foil, the boat can go higher upwind, but above all it is intended to lift the hull on the centre line and help the ClubSwan to plane really quickly. Charter customers can also book complete training camps. For the time being, however, prices are only available on request.

If you want to race afterwards or straight away, you can book the entire boat, including technical support on land bareboat, and sail or even take part in a local regatta in Croatia. The regatta series for the ClubSwan 36 starts in 2023 with an event from 25 to 29 April in Croatia just outside Split. More information about booking on the website of ACI Sail.
