When the sea glistens a million times over, the sun is low and glowing red in the evening sky, the spray splashes and the wind pushes the ship onto its side, then it's time to grab your camera. Capture your greatest sailing moments and most exciting encounters during the upcoming season and share them with us and others.
Many thousands of YACHT readers have responded to our annual appeal over the past two decades. The editorial team received some impressive images, ranging from regatta action and classic romance to breathtaking landscapes.
Once again, it's worth taking part in the YACHT photo competition! Prizes with a total value of over 6,000 euros await the participants; the 25 best entries will be honoured. This year's prizes include a folding bike, a marine smartwatch, a sailing blouson, a foldable solar panel, a lifejacket, sun protection sets, calendars and much more. How to join in
DIGITAL PHOTOS
Please use our Upload service. The following applies to participation:
- Only one motif per participant.
- The photo may be digitally developed, i.e. edited. However, no image content may be added or removed. In case of doubt, the jury will request the original camera file.
- The photo may only be uploaded in JPEG format. Minimum requirements: 3,000 x 2,000 pixels with a resolution of at least 180 dpi. This corresponds to a file size of approx. 5 MB.
- Please choose your name as the file name. Don't forget your e-mail address and image information, such as location, date, boat type, etc.

The closing date for entries is 15 September 2024.
With your entry, you transfer the rights of use to the photos to us. The editorial team reserves the right to exclude entries from the competition that violate the conditions of participation. The winning photos will be presented in the autumn. Employees of Delius Klasing Verlag and their relatives may not take part. Legal recourse is excluded.
