Take part and win: We’re looking for your favourite spots on the Baltic Sea!

​The highest point of the Göta Canal, 91.50 metres above sea level, is located near Tåtorp. An obelisk stands there in the woods, where a bend in the canal was shortened in 1936. It forms a narrow branch canal with a secluded mooring spot on a canal island. Holger Peterson, a long-standing contributor to YACHT magazine and author, discovered this spot for himself during extended cruises on his Reinke ‘Fuchur’. “The contrast between an ocean-going yacht and a mooring in the heart of Scandinavian nature has a magical effect on us. We want to go back there,” he enthuses – whilst at the same time wondering where the magical spots for YACHT readers might be.
