At the editorial site at Hamburg Goose Market is where the editorial teams of YACHT, BOOTE and BOOTE EXCLUSIV magazines work. In addition to the printed magazines, this is where websites, digital editions, YouTube videos and newsletters are created. Apps, books and events round off the publisher's offering for water sports enthusiasts.

For our editorial team and our water sports team in Hamburg, we are looking for the next possible date for a Assistant to the chief editor for water sports (m/f/d) full-time for a limited period of two years.

These tasks await you:

• Supporting the editor-in-chief in all day-to-day office matters
• Booking and invoicing of business trips for the editorial team
• Assistance for the editors, e.g. procurement of test samples and images
• Collaboration at various yacht events, industry events and trade fair presentations including stand support
• Carrying out various administrative and organisational tasks as part of day-to-day office management
• Mail processing and distribution (letters to the editor, etc.), taking over the telephone switchboard, processing internal and external correspondence
• Preparation of conferences and conference rooms and catering for guests
• Fulfilment of office supplies orders
• Handling of our reader service, which includes the provision of information by telephone and in writing as well as archive research

What you bring with you:

• Ideally a completed commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in publishing houses or media companies
• Interest in water sports
• Empathy and openness
• Organisational talent, reliability and a sense of responsibility
• Team player qualities and independence
• sound knowledge of MS Office
• Good knowledge of German and English
