The 26-year-old was inspired by a book about sailing around the world and decided to turn his own sailing dream into reality. With a minimalist approach, he set off with an Etap21i on its way from Heidelberg via the rivers and canals of France to the Mediterranean.
On his 6.5 metre boat, Luca overcame numerous challenges and experienced exciting encounters along the route. With a modest budget of around 500 euros per month, he shows that adventures do not have to be expensive, but rather that it is important to use resources wisely and make the best of every situation.
From the rivers and canals via St Tropez to the wind and weather conditions in the Mediterranean, Luca reports on his experiences, problems and repairs during the journey. Despite the solitude of solo sailing, he met inspiring people along the route who not only enriched his journey, but also changed his world view.
Luca provides insights into his water and electricity management, his living costs and his plans for the transfer of his "Parsec". This episode not only promises adventure, but also encourages reflection on minimalism and resource management.
