The Hamburg Yacht Festival is entering the next round. For the third time, the organisers are expecting around 10,000 enthusiastic water sports enthusiasts. Whether beginner or expert, sailor or motorboat driver, a full programme is on offer for three days for all boating enthusiasts and those who want to become one.
More than 60 renowned exhibitors present boats, innovative equipment and maritime services. The Hamburg Yacht Festival is more than just a traditional trade fair. Visitors can gain their first experience on the water with taster sailing sessions, while the "Yacht Festival Cup" regattas on the Elbe and the "Yacht Harbour Opti Cup" for young sailors provide exciting competitions.
Expertise will be imparted in around 80 expert presentations on two stages and on the water. Interactive workshops, hands-on activities, a maritime flea market on Sunday and numerous information stands from associations and clubs ensure a varied programme. This year, special attention will once again be focussed on the topic of "Safety at sea and on board".
The Hamburg Yacht Festival offers a colourful programme of fun and games for children. The food court promises culinary variety, and the evening events invite you to celebrate: Friday evening starts with "Wedel sings", followed by the sailing music legend from the Elbe "Frank Schönfeldt and the life jackets", followed by the "Yacht Festival Party". On Saturday evening, the Just-for-Fun hit band will get the guests dancing at the legendary "Yacht Harbour Party".
Admission to the Hamburg Yacht Festival is free of charge. Opening hours: Friday from 12 to 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
