In addition to having completed their schooling, candidates are expected to have sailing experience and a passion for the sport. They will gain their first insights into the world of work right by the water’s edge. Alongside office-based duties, the ‘BufDis’ can expect to undertake organisational and planning tasks:

Become part of the wider sailing community and, as part of the Federal Voluntary Service programme, take a look behind the scenes at the leading sports federation for German sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing clubs, the regional sailing associations and class associations.
The start date and duration of the Federal Voluntary Service can be arranged flexibly by mutual agreement and can be tailored to suit your plansn.
