Film tip: The "Gangerl" sails into the living room
Wolfgang "Gangerl" Clemens (83). The Bavarian sold his company in 1987, got out and has been travelling the most remote corners of the world under sail with his yachts "Bavaria" I and II ever since. The film "Ausgsting" is now about this.
Filmmaker Julian Wittmann accompanied the dropout Wolfgang "Gangerl" Clemens on his sailing yacht for three months. The portrait of the thoroughly unconventional 83-year-old adventurer, who has been travelling the world's oceans for 38 years, has been shown in various cinemas since August. Now you can also watch the film at home.

From 29 December, Majestic Home Entertainment will be bringing the documentary adventure film "Ausgsting" to your living room. It will then be available to buy on all popular streaming platforms. Amazon Prime, for example, is offering it for 13.99 euros.

If you can wait until 15 January 2026, you can also rent the film as video on demand instead. Finally, for very loyal Gangerl fans, the DVD will be released on 6 March 2026, distributed by Leonine.

A YACHT podcast has also been released to mark the occasion. It's definitely worth a listen!

Here you can listen to the YACHT podcast with "Gangerl" and Thomas Wittmann
