Team Vestas Wind at the test stroke off Lisbon
Team Vestas Wind is sailing again. Tests at the weekend were successfully completed. The re-entry into the race is this weekend

Last weekend, Team Vestas Wind sailed again for the first time since it hit a reef in November and the boat was badly damaged. The yacht has been almost completely rebuilt over the past few months. However, she will have to prove for the first time whether she is up to the demands of a race at the Inportrace off Lisbon on 6 June, before setting off on the 8th leg to Lorient, which is only 647 nautical miles long, but for which 25 knots of wind are forecast.

For the Danish-sponsored team, the last two regattas are all about publicity. In the rankings, both in the in-port races and the legs, it can no longer improve on last place.
