The first strokes with the new boat
Team Camper has launched the first new boat for the race starting in autumn. The extreme folding frame is striking

The boat was designed by the designers of Team New Zealand, under the direction of Marcelino Botin. The trend towards wide, flat frames that favour planing characteristics, which was already evident in previous races, is clearly continuing with the Camper boat. The pronounced bent frame, which extends far forwards, and the almost straight sides ensure maximum width in the waterline.
