It's back to Europe. On Sunday evening, the Volvo field took off from Newport heading for Lisbon - into difficult conditions

With a constant 15 knots and picture-book weather, it was a worthwhile start to the seventh leg. Tight manoeuvres, close encounters, guests jumping into the water - there was everything you need for a successful sailing sports broadcast.

But just two hours after the start, the field reached a light wind area, from which Mapfre and Team SCA were able to break away and take a narrow lead.
