Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph "Ocean Racer"
A watch that sailed around the world, on the wrist of Ian Walker, skipper of Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing. The proceeds will be donated
Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen, the official timekeeper of the Volvo Ocean Race and partner of the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing, is auctioning off skipper Ian Walker's watch, the Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph "Ocean Racer" model. The highest bidder will also be invited to attend the grand finale live in Gothenburg from 25 to 28 June.
The timepiece will be available until 23 June 2015. auctioned online here. The minimum bid is 7,500 pounds (around 10,000 euros). All proceeds will go to the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
