Team New Zealand decides to intensify its preparations for the next America's Cup
Team New Zealand is running out of time. Now came the decision: more preparation for the America's Cup, no participation in the Volvo Race

At the end of February, it was surprisingly announced that Team New Zealand would be competing in the Volvo Ocean Race 2014 in cooperation with the Spanish team Campos. However, the schedule was apparently too tight, with the race around the world starting on 4 October this year. Now the Cancellation The New Zealanders are not in the Volvo Ocean Race after all.

In the Volvo Ocean Race 2011/12, the Kiwis sailed to second place as Team Camper. This unfinished business, it was said in February, should now be settled. After second place in the 34th America's Cup, however, another revenge is due. And the Cup is now more important to Grant Dalton's team.

Höhepunkt: eine ganze Nacht in der Rettungsinsel auf der Ostsee. Seine Familie hat inzwischen durchgesetzt, dass Urlaubstörns auf der eigenen Fahrtenyacht deutlich trockener ablaufen.
