"Uca" only fourth as the largest yacht after four light wind legs

The second Baltic Sprint Cup came to an end yesterday with the arrival in Warnemünde. Around 800 nautical miles had to be sailed in four stages from Stavanger via Gothenburg, Århus and Copenhagen to Warnemünde. There were 32 boats at the start.

With two second and two third places, the 41-foot Judel/Vrolijk construction "Inshallah VI" by Volker Andreae from Hamburg clearly came out on top in the overall standings. Last year's winner "Emil Reiseschwein" (X-442) by Stefan Hummelt was six points behind with a total of 16 points. The 85-foot-long "Uca" only managed fourth place. Although she won two legs outright, she also had to take a 13th and an 11th place in the classification.

Despite the shortened course and shorter duration, the number of participants of 50 yachts could not be reached last year
