New formation of the DSV Olympic Sailing Committee

The Vice President of the German Sailing Association, Emil Steinke, has appointed the 1984 silver medallist in the Star boat, Hamburg entrepreneur Achim Griese, as the new Chairman of the Olympic Sailing Committee of the German Sailing Association.

The multiple German champion in various dinghy and keelboat classes also has extensive experience in offshore sailing. (including winning the Admirals Cup) He has appointed Michael Marcour, his former starboat skipper, to the committee. He will fill another vacancy in the next few days.
