The German Company Cup 2024, which was held in Kressbronn on Lake Constance, will be remembered for its strong images and an outstanding team. In perfect foehn weather, 14 crews were able to compete in two leagues for two days and sail to the placings. Crews from companies, clubs and organisations from Germany and abroad were once again able to take part in the third edition of the German Company Cup

Photographer Ekke Erben from Hamburg was on site and captured the company regatta impressively: "After snow and rain the week before, we had the best foehn weather in time for the start. We had everything from calm and fog to 20 knots of wind. Dream conditions for me too!"

Membership of associations or clubs is not required, and teams can even be made up of employees from different companies. According to the organisers, the Company Cup offers the opportunity to master challenges with colleagues, to sharpen team spirit and to achieve the goal together. Experiences are taken back to the companies and contribute to company loyalty and employee recruitment.

No Lake Constance skipper's licence required

Possession of a Lake Constance skipper's licence or the otherwise required boat registration do not play a role in the Company Cup on Lake Constance. This is made possible by an exemption for authorised regattas granted by the Lake Constance District Office. Training runs may also be carried out from one week before the start.
