In its resurrection, the Admiral's Cup 2025 has the potential to fascinate German sailing again with three German teams among the 15 taking part. Great Britain will field two teams, while Sweden and Estonia will form a joint Baltic team. All teams at a glance.

The list of participants shows just how much the Admiral's Cup continues to fascinate German sailing after its resurrection: Black-Red-Gold is with three of a total of 15 teams already top in terms of quantity. Hosts Great Britain are putting together two teams, while Sweden and Estonia have joined forces to form the Baltic Team.

Contrary to original plans and announcements, Boris Herrmann will not be competing in the Admiral's Cup Revival. "I'm needed for the preparations for the Ocean Race Europe. That was ultimately too tight," said the six-time circumnavigator this week when asked by YACHT. Herrmann originally wanted to join the team on Peter Harrison's Carkeek 40 "Jolt 6" for the Yacht Club de Monaco. However, founder Pierre Casiraghi as co-skipper, Will Harris and Cole Brauer are still part of Team Malizia.
