America's Cup: Wow, that's wet! On an AC 50 via 360-degree videoPhoto: Groupama Team France
In the course of the video, the Speedo goes up to over 40 knots!
Groupama Team France delivers cool impressions: A video of a complete foiling turn and a 360-degree video on board. Keep an eye on the speedometer!

Is my screen waterproof? The question arises briefly when the AC 50 from Team France slams into the water with a bow and the sea hits the monitor. In a 360-degree video, the viewer gets a very realistic impression of what it's like on such a Cup machine.

Hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse. This allows you to freely determine your viewing angle. Boat data and other information are also displayed automatically.

The French also show a complete foiling turn from an on-board perspective. Very interesting to see how well orchestrated the manoeuvre must be.
