The aim of the campaign is to participate in the 34th America's Cup. To this end, all available forces in France are to be pooled. This could also include the Franco-German racing team All4one of Stephane Kandler and Jochen Schümann.

The brothers Loïck and Bruno Peyron want to win the Cup for France for the first time. Since Baron Bich's first attempt in 1967, all subsequent attempts have failed, sometimes miserably.

At least in terms of personnel, however, this potential campaign should be better positioned than ever before. The Peyron brothers are among the best multihull sailors in the world. Loïck steered the cat "Alinghi V" in the final phase of the last Cup. He has won the Transat Jacques Vabre twice, won three other transatlantic regattas and crossed the Atlantic 43 times, 17 of them solo. He came second in the multihull round-the-world race The Race 2000/2001, second in the single-handed non-stop world regatta Vendée Globe 1989/90 and won many other important regattas.

"We've always said that the Americas Cup is for specialists," says Loïck Peyron about the campaign. "The French are specialists in multihull sailing, so let's do it ... Together!"

His brother Bruno adds: "As the Americas Cup is being held with multihulls for the first time, the challenge for us is clear: is France, the world leader in multihulls for 30 years, capable of realising this capability or will it allow other nations to take what we have built up over 30 years in three years?"

Bruno Peyron was the founder of The Race and has won the Jules Verne Trophy three times, set three Atlantic records and many other records.

Both Peyrons have announced their intention to hold talks with Stephane Kandler and Jochen Schümann in order to merge their All4one campaign with their own.

Within the next three months, however, the necessary personnel, and above all the funding, must be brought together. They have set themselves this deadline.
