The hull is wedge-shaped with the greatest width at the stern, the superstructure is concave and curved, the foredeck is unusually slim for a modern racer: Michele Molino's design is polarising and full of ideas. The efficiency of which has yet to be proven on the regatta course. For the time being, the boat is being offered as an IRC version with a simple keel without a bomb, among other things, with a version for ORCi to follow.
The ship impresses with a multitude of effective trim features, high-quality basic equipment and an uncompromising omission of unnecessary weight. However, the workmanship proved to be inadequate in the test and the basic price of 152,000 euros was too high against this background.
You can find out whether the boat has potential and how a current cruiser/racer can be interpreted in issue 22 of YACHT, which is published in the DK-Shop is available. Or you can download the test directly via the link below.
