Fast and sporty performance boats with a one-design character are more in demand than ever before, be it for regattas in the one-design class, for the increasingly strong ORC or IRC handicap competitions, especially in France, Italy and England, or in particular for the increasingly popular long-distance single-handed or double-handed regattas. The trend is there and the demand is correspondingly high. The 30-foot format has become the new up-and-coming class in international yachting. The yacht building industry is also responding to this with a new, exciting development for the up-and-coming market segment. And: France has now announced an ambitious project to create an international standardised class with the new Class 30 One Design.

In YACHT, issue 11/2022, we present the 30-foot regatta yacht class, illustrate the current competition and also introduce the new Class 30 from France as the new One Design. The magazine is available in DK-Shop or you can download the article directly via the link below.
