Dufour 40 "Rave" wins over everything calculated

After 2 days, 2 hours and 25 minutes of sailing time, the first ship home in the classic Pantaenius round Skagen was once again the "Uca" from Kiel.

But the 85-foot maxi had nothing to do with the outcome of the race. In the large boat class, the Hamburg "Inschallah VI" of long-time participant Volker Andreae, a Judel/Vrolijk 41, won. Second place went to the IMX-38 of Harm Müller-Röhlck from Bremen, who won the Helgoland-Edinburgh race last year. Third place went to the 70-foot single "Sinfonie Sylt" built by Reinhold Riehl from Sylt.
The ORC Club 2 class was won by the Dufour 40 "Rave" of Olaf Behrens, just ahead of the aged Swan 48 of Harald Baum, who is the title sponsor of the race with his insurance brokerage firm. These yachts also took the first two places in the overall classification. In the ORC Club 3 class, Stefan Voss from Flensburg won with his X 312 "Out of the Box" ahead of Knut Freudenberg's First 31.7 "Halbtrocken".
