YACHT photographer Nico Krauss is one of several artists who form the framework for the current exhibition at the Robbe & Berking Yachting Heritage Centre

Water - boxes is the name of the Robbe & Berking Yachting Heritage Centre The exhibition, which can be seen every Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at Flensburg's Harniskai No. 13 until 1 May, is the centrepiece of the exhibition. The centrepiece of the exhibition is a selection from a collection of over 100 sea chests from the 18th to 20th centuries.

The framework is formed by photographs and paintings of water from the perspective of Artists of the present day. Among them also YACHT photographer Nico Krauss. In contrast to the sea chests, the pictures of water are also available for purchase.

Born in Kiel, grew up on the water and on board, trained as a sailor in the club and sailing on the North and Baltic Seas. After school, navy and legal training, he worked as a trainee at YACHT from 2007-2009 in the Panorama department, which he now heads. He is also responsible for the special edition of YACHT classic, has published several books with Delius-Klasing and is deputy editor-in-chief of YACHT. Johannsen is an enthusiastic cruising sailor on his own keel and an active supporter of the German classic boat scene.
